Study On Condition And Approach Of Land-saving Residential District

In the meeting of central government in which the topic for discussion was about economic affairs, the residential district of land-saving and energy saving received special attention in December, 2004. Land-saving and energy saving district was not only land-saving and energy saving, but also water-saving, material-saving, environmental protection. There is 30% land which is used for residential construction in the city construction of nowadays. Because the extensive use and waste of land, most cities face the problem of land shortage. Experts said that it will reduce 1 billion mu in the following 10 years. Under such conditions, it is important to built the residential district of land-saving and energy saving. Now, compare to the scholars which study the residential district of energy saving, there is so little scholars which study the residential district of land saving.This paper summaries the study of residential district of land saving, and gives the operational schemes. On the basis of existing research findings, this paper gives the details meaning of residential district of land saving. Residential district of land saving is not only land saving and it integrates the social benefit, economic benefit, ecological benefit on the condition of substantial development. This paper explores the implementation technology from so many respects and gives a classification, and hope to gives some suggestion for practice.It is inevitable requirement for the substantial development of city to construct residential district of land saving. The development environment and operational method that this paper gives can make an initial exploration for the practice of residential district of land saving.
