Studies On The Architecture Of The Town-god Temple In Guanzhong Region

In ancient China, sacrificial rite occupied important meaning, and it was important event that pulled on the whole society life. It points out clearly in Zuo-zhuan: "the event of country are sacrificial rite and army." However, sacrificial rite is regarded as the most event of country, its status is in the front of army, That is to say, it is not easy to understand that we play sacrificial rite of heaven, field and god that today we take for ludicrous thing on the first status. In the ancient of our country, the activity of sacrificial rite ever existed as the national chapter and regime.In the regime of Ming dynasty, the god of Town-god was the same as god society, god millet , over year, wind rain thunder, the four season month shall , month town, sea du, hill plain, locating on middle grade sacrificial rite, and its dimension was larger than others. Correspondingly, the sacrificial architecture is one important type inchina ancient architecture. The subject of this study------the Town-god Temple is oneof middle grade devoted to the Town-god, This study of Town-god Temple will offer detailed information for further researches into sacrificial architecture.Study on the architecture of the Town-god Temple in Guanzhong district is based on the cultural heritage of the Town-god as background, This paper discusses and demonstrates the characteristics of its architecture heritage , its allocation and its environment , layout , its building and details. Furthermore, on the basis of detailed and comparative analysis, in the end this paper summarizes the characteristic of the Town-god Temple in Guanzhong and points out advises that how to protect and repair this architecture, points out its' further conservation needs effort for a long time of all fields of our society.
