Supervisor:Prof. Guo Konghui, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering The Suspension System is one of the most important assemblies of the vehicle because it can enable a vehicle has the perfect kinetic performance even though undergoing the potholed road or variable loadings and then make it have good steering stabilization. The Suspension Kinematics & Compliance has become the most significant factor to evaluate or design the steering stabilization of a vehicle. The application of the Suspension Kinematics & Compliance is to analysis the relationship between the parameters of the wheel anchor \ the wheel and the longitudinal force\ lateral force\ comeback moment(Compliance). However these factors have great influences on the vehicle steering stabilization so that we could estimate and analysis the performance of the Suspension System and also provide the reference for the vehicle design.In this paper, Basing on the Suspension Kinematics & Compliance theory we have carried through K&C test of this microbus with the equipments supplied by company . As the results of the test we got the steering stabilization parameters of this microbus at the same time to have estimated its steering stabilization performance. In the SuspensionSim software we established the Suspension System model of this microbus and then with it did the simulation and the analyse.According to the results of road test of this microbus by using the CarSim software we established its simulation model then carried through simulating driving on three deferent condition. It proves that the simulation and the model will have enough validity in the future research.In this paper, the task I carried out is as stated below:Carrying out the K&C test of this microbus with the equipments supplied by company.According to the result of the test we have got the description of the steering stabilization and by analyzing the output of the test also got the relationship between the Suspension Kinematics & Compliance and the vehicle steering stabilization.In the SuspensionSim software we established the Suspension System model of this microbus and then with it did the simulation and the analyse. As a result we got the validity of this Suspension System model.By inputting the parameters and the data obtained from the K&C test of this microbus, in the CarSim software we established its simulation model then carried out simulation on three deferent condition. It proves that the simulation and the model will have enough validity in the future research.At the last , probably for some reasons there are still some points that could not mentioned in this paper . I sincerely hope readers give me valuable advice and I will try the best to do the further research for the future.
