Suspension kinematics and compliance characteristics(suspension K&C characteristics in short)are important factors affecting vehicle dynamics,suspension K&C characteristics test rig is an indispensable test equipment for studying and testing suspension K&C characteristics parameters and plays an important role in all stages of automotive design and development.Currently,the test technology of suspension K&C characteristics parameters gradually matures,but the test method needs to be improved,and the calculation method of test data is not disclosed.In this paper,the test equipment of commercial vehicle suspension K&C characteristics is taken as the research object.The measurement method of wheel alignment parameters in quasi-static loading test is studied and a binocular vision non-contact synchronous measurement scheme is proposed to improve the test precision and efficiency.The calculation process and method of test data and suspension K&C characteristics parameters are studied,the calculation formula of indirect measurement data and suspension K&C characteristics parameters are deduced in three stages from measurement data of the binocular vision measuring instrument and other sensors as the input and compared with the parameter calculation method in Adams/Car simulation experiment to verify its accuracy.Finally,the control system of binocular vision measuring instrument is developed according to the proposed measurement method of wheel alignment parameters in suspension K&C characteristics test,the data processing system is developed according to the calculation formula of suspension K&C characteristics parameters,they can be integrated into the measurement and control system of suspension K&C characteristics test equipment for real vehicle testing.
