Concrete batching plant, one of the concrete machines, is developing fast along with the commercialized and centralized production of concrete in recent years. Concrete batching plant is the in needed facility in construction of building, bridge, dam, and so on. It is composed of all kinds of components such as material feeding, material storing, material batching, material mixing, controlling, etc.The controlling system, one of the components of concrete batching plant is developing fast as well. The industrial control computer and programmable logic controller (PLC) are adopted in many concrete batching plants as the controlling system at present, but according to the review in field, the reliability of this kind system is hard to say after long time working.A bran-new controlling system based on embedded technology with strong controlling and communication function for concrete batching plant use is put forward in this thesis, which makes controlling cost decrease and reliability increase.The whole blueprint of the embedded controlling system for concrete batching plant is presented in the dissertation and it is divided into three parts including core controlling subsystem, wireless data acquiring subsystem and human machine interface (HMI). The dissertation focuses on the design of core controlling subsystem and wireless data acquiring subsystem. LPC2210 CPU base on ARM architecture is adopted in the core controlling system and its embedded OS is uClinux. The article not only introduces the hardware design of these three subsystem but also the process of replanting uClinux on LPC2210 platform, Boot Loader programming, building developing/debugging environment, devices drivers and application program design as well. The wireless data acquiring subsystem, actually an intelligent instrument, acquires the weigh data of material and send it wirelessly to the core controlling system. The HMI subsystem updates the monitor by communication with the core controlling subsystem through the serial port, so the operator can handle it to control the whole producing process.Finally, the dissertation summarizes the process of this embedded controlling system development and prospects it as well. |
