Voltage problems are not only an issue of quality of power supply, but also related to the safety and economic operation of large-scale power systems. This paper presents Langfang network's system and load performance, and analyzes the trend of reactive changes. The AVC can realize the coordinate control between the plant equipments. This paper presents the automatic voltage control system (AVC) of Langfang electric network. On the condition of actual network, the AVC system utilizes data provided by SCADA, can automatically control every bus voltage conveniently and reliably.
