Cold-formed thin-walled steel plate shear wall is a new kind of high-performance wall.It can improve the shear performance of the wall through the joint action of the side columns and the embedded thin steel plate,which possesses high practical value and wide application prospect.At present,the research results of this new type of steel plate shear wall are not mature,and its mechanical performance and shear theoretical method need to be more perfect.Based on the experimental study and finite element analysis,the seismic performance of cold-formed thin-walled steel plate shear wall is deeply studied in this paper.The hysteretic behavior,failure characteristics and stiffness degradation of the shear wall are obtained.The influence of longitudinal and transverse stiffeners,side column section form and other parameters on the seismic performance of the wall is studied,and a new type of cold-formed thin-walled steel plate shear wall is proposed Design value of bearing capacity.The main contents are as follows:(1)In this paper,five cold-formed thin-walled steel plate shear walls are tested under horizontal low cycle cyclic loading.The main parameters are longitudinal and transverse stiffeners,side column section form and embedded steel plate.The mechanical mechanism and failure characteristics of the wall are explored.At the same time,the hysteretic curve and skeleton curve of cold-formed thin-walled steel plate shear wall are obtained,and the structural performance indexes such as ductility,bearing capacity at each stage and stiffness degradation are discussed.The shear performance of screw connection under different loading conditions was tested,and the test data of screw connection was obtained.(2)Combined with the shear wall test results,three wall models are simulated by ABAQUS finite element software.In the finite element model,sliding plane and alignment are used to simulate the connection of self tapping screw in the wall.By comparing the loading results of each shear wall with the corresponding finite element wall model,it is verified that the wall model can better simulate the shear wall test.The variable parameter analysis of cold-formed thin-walled steel plate shear wall is carried out.The height width ratio of the wall,screw spacing and steel strength of the side column are selected as the main parameters.The failure characteristics and bearing capacity of the wall finite element model are analyzed.(3)Based on the finite element analysis and test results,referring to the relevant provisions and theoretical background of cold-formed thin-walled steel shear capacity in domestic and foreign codes,the partial resistance coefficient of coldformed thin-walled steel plate shear wall is obtained,and the recommended value of shear capacity design of this kind of wall under horizontal earthquake is determined,which provides a reference for the research and application of practical engineering.
