With the arrival of PC era, the embedded system has being the main direction by the strongpoints of small volume,long work time, capability steady in the modern society monitoring system domain. With improving of ship automatization, ship monitoring has being important embodiment of ship automatization by embedded system.Firstly, the paper introduces the performance of real time,veracity,alternation in engine room monitoring system and hardward and software frame of the system. In the hardware frame, the processor of the system is W78E516B, and made the embedded operating system μC/OS- II running on the 8-bit MCU to form a hardware frame. According to the character of the 8-bit MCU's limited resources, I have simplified the TCP/IP protocol stack, only including UDP,ICMP,IP,ARP etc, making it running on the MCU, and because of using Ethernet interface chip RTL8019AS,it makes the bottom system working better. At the same time, the paper includes traits of embedded operating system μC/OS- II and the method of transplanting in the detail, and how to transplant the embedded TCP/IP protocol, in the foundation, I design a data collection system,which is made up of CGItechnic,51SCM,pint-size TCP/IP protocol, Ethernet interface chip,A/D, D/A switch equipment. The system can access the Internet by network interface chip to process analog signals collection and remote transmission by CGI interface technic.After about a year's studying and debugging of hardware and software, I have achieved originally aim. The accomplishment of this paper has a favorable foundation for realizing embedded monitoring technic in the ship engine room, and offering the gread value of reference for engine room automatizationt.
