| This Paper analyses the problems in the mid-voltage distribution network planning and the directions and status of the current optimization methods. Additionally, particle swarm optimization (PSO)algorithm has been studied and analyzed thoroughly.Two modified PSO algorithm are proposed. The first one is that hybridizing operator is introduced into PSO algorithm, and the second one is combing PSO algorithm with genetic algorithm (GA), which improves the astringency and the ability of global optimization.In allusion to the trait of mid-voltage distribution network planning, this paper proposes the mathmatics model based on the PSO algorithm. For solving these problems, numerical simulation results show the effectiveness and efficiency of using PSO algorithm in this domain optimization. Via the in-depth researches on the particle swarm optimization algorithm,this paper perfects the PSO algorithm and extends its application domain, and provides a new theory direction and methods for optimization problems. |
