Besides the extensive damage of people's lives and fortune brought by the fire, the effect and destruction on the buildings is also extraordinary severe. Especially recent years, with the building high stratification, the big formalization and the use recombined, the tendency of the building fire occurrence is upward. But in all kinds of building structures, the reinforced concrete structure holds the biggest share. Up to date, the researches in the fire resistant character of the concrete structure components are quite limited at home and abroad, and the identified synthesis and appraisal to the damage structure after fire is also at the fumble stage. At present, there isn't explicit standards and regulations to follow in our country and could not meet the needs of engineering development. Therefore, the researches in the examination identifying and optimizing scheme of renovation design of the structure damage degree after fire are being paid enough attention at home and abroad. The deep research to its theory and practice has the significant society and economic benefit.The fire literature about the reinforced concrete structure existed at home and abroad are collected and reorganized in the paper. Apply and induce that the materials mechanics performance of the reinforced concrete structure after fire and the change of the component bearing capacity, the examination and appraisal method of the damage structure and the computation and design of the structure reinforcement and so on combined the project experience and the concrete project example. On the bases, the examination method of the reinforced concrete structure, the synthesis appraisement standard of the damage degree and the repair and reinforcement design proposal after fire are researched and discussed. And as references for the construction fire actual engineering research and the repair reinforcement design in the future, some effective methods and suggestions are provided.The fire resistant performance of the reinforced concrete material and component is analyzed in this paper, summarize the mechanics performance change rules of the steel and the concrete material under the high temperature function, elaborate the fire resistant performance and the supporting capacity change rule of the reinforced concrete structure component. The building fire temperature's determination is a complex work. So the concrete method of determining fire temperature is analyzed in the paper. On this foundation, synthesis summarize the examination methods of material and the damage structure after fire , analyze their respective merits and disadvantages and the applicable scopes. Simultaneously, the fire damages ranks and the evaluation standard of the concrete structure and component are summarized.
