Research On The Material Used In Renovation & Extension

The task of this paper is one of the embranchment on the research of the old building reuse, and that also touches upon the architecture material. In order to the architecture material used on better function to design, this paper integrated the successful cases throughout the world, firstly recommend some concept about material, talk about the materials'contextual and engineering characteristics ;analyze the reasons of old material aging and the meaning of protection, conclude the way of protecting the old material; base on the form, space, technology three aspects, try to reach the effective combination of the strategy used in new architecture material.
