In the process of trailer structure design, it is necessary to understand the condition of dynamic load in suspension system. Generally speaking, hydraulic suspension system is used in heavy road vehicle, because of its strong ability in loading heavy cargo. For such reason, it is impossible to use the design parameters of civil vehicle into the design of the trailer structure.In the paper, hydromechanics theory was used to analyse the cause of formation of dynamic load. Based on the hydraulic suspension system, the foundational mathematics model was built to illuminate the working status of the system. By using this mathematics model, the paper got the relation between road surface roughness and the max pressure in hydraulic suspension system.In consider of the situation of vehicle runing on the road surface, virtual prototype technique was used to simulate working status of the vehicle. By Using ADAMS( a dynamic analysis software), the paper built a 3-D model of trailer and hydraulic suspension system to study the whole changing process of dynamic load. At the end of this section, the paper got the value range of the dynamic load on trailer body.The research method used in the paper, might be an instructive way for future analogous research of hydraulic load. Furthermore, the conclusion of the paper is valuable for trailer structure design.
