Research On M&C Unit In Substation Automation System Based On IEC61850

IEC61850 is a unique network communication standard based on common network communication platform for substation automation system (SAS) in the world, and it will server as the base of the related standards in the Electric Power Industry of China, and it will realize the goals of "one world , one technology, one standard".Firstly, this paper summarized the similarities and differences of traditional substation and digital substation. Then,the text introduced the background, reason and goal of IEC61850 standard series, furthermore, analyzed its main characters.The hardware platform of protection and measure control device based on dual-CPU of DSP TMS320F2812 and ARM S3C44BOX was designed, then has discussed the problem of exchanging the data through dual-port RAM among the principal and subordinate processors in detail, focused on ethernet communication model according to IEC61850 standard.The paper transplanted embedded operating system of uClinux with integrated TCP/IP to the platform , based on principle of SOCKET network program of UNIX , has realized ethernet communication network according to IEC61850 standard.At the time of finishing this paper,the last chapter has summarized this text and proposed some question.
