Some widely used technological products have increased work efficiency; meanwhile, they bring about some problems. With more repeated and more specialized work, those products become hazards to human health; the increasingly rapid pace of life today causes more problems than it solves. Inspiring technology is concerned with establishing a new scientific foundation which integrates human system theories with modern technologies to develop a new generation of products that can simultaneously inspire human potentials while achieving their intended functional purposes. Inspiring products are completely integrated with existing products and intelligently tailor their inspiring functions for different users and adapt to changing environments."Inspiring Technology"is initiated by Stephen. Lu, which extends western human system theories to the Traditional Chinese Medicine approaches;it is an"application-driven"basic research in system engineering, design methodology, and product development;Inspiring products are NOT medical treatment devices; they"inspire"human potentials, not"cure"human diseases; they are"transparently"embedded in existing products.Inspiring product design method and real model are researched here.The first product is Measuring Temperature Mouse, which embeds measuring temperature module and magnetism therapy module in common mouse and by ANN,human body temperature is forecasted from measured information.The second product adopts time-measuring module, photo electricity-switch and temperature sensor to measure work time and temperature. Correspondingly,music and thermoregulation cushion will take effect on body's fatigue.What's more, we also researched a pulse wave-picking up sensor for other usage.All of those will be the design foundation of product based on Inspiring technology.
