Recently, container multimodal transportation has increasingly become the main organizing method of international physical distribution, and its effectiveness and efficiency will be exerted and embodied to a greater extent. China started commencing container transportation almost the same time with USA, after decades of development, however, container transportation of USA has already come into the age of integrated logistics, while that of china falls awfully behind. Consequently, it is quite necessary that optimization of container multimodal transportation of China be studied carefully and thoroughly.The paper, applying system analyzing method, fuzzy mathematics, transportization theory and dissipative structure theory on the task of optimization of container multimodal transportation of China, makes following contribution:i. Analyze the essentials of container multimodal transportation; then put forward the second type of the structure of container multimodal transportation; then work out the optimized dynamic chart of container multimodal transportation.ii. Analyze the structure of dynamic evaluation of container multimodal transportation by applying the optimized dynamic chart, and perform modality calculation for the tri-level ambiguity integrated evaluation of container multimodal transportationiii. Explain the fact, in relation to transportization theory, that the container traffic volume of China will reach an extremum in a foreseeable future, i.e., there is a foreseeable maximum volume of container transportation in existence; based on the illustration above, bring forward the concept of foreseeable optimized structure of container multimodal transportation system, and the idea that the phase optimized structure should exceed itself appropriately and approach the foreseeable optimized structure. iv.
