The measurement of saturation oxygen is applied widely in clinical diagnosis. Pulse saturation oxygen detector should mainly be used in anaesthesia, operation and PACU and ICU. These years, our country has stepped into the senile society, the pulmonary heart disease has become one of the focus of medical departments. Pulmonary heart diseases often cause the lung to be oxygen-deficient, which will induce respiratory distress and in worse instances cause the patient to be dead. Because of the symptom of oxygen—deficient is drastic fall of the saturation oxygen. Therefore, developed a kind of noninvasive, minimized, and intelligent saturation oxygen detector in the community under the conditions of the continuous monitor of saturation oxygen on prevention is very important. The detecting also provides quickly, directly, efficiently operational reference to doctors.Author briefed the produced mechanism of the saturation oxygen and history, development of the pulse saturation oxygen detector. Through introduce the noninvasive pulse saturation oxygen's principles and methods. Propose through the Lambert-beer law to calculate was to test the saturation oxygen and analysis the signals of pulse wave.According to the data from experiments and research, near-infrared light can penetrate into human skin, cadre, musculature to the extent of several centimeters. According to the curve of the body's absorption coefficient from 600nm to 1000nm. In the sensor design, the author uses semiconductor lasers at the wavelength on 660nm and 980nm. Choose S1336 as photoelectric converter, S1336 on the light of the surveying scope is 400nm-1000nm, around 950nm has the largest photosensitivity.
