With the economy of our country developing fast, automobile is becoming popular as a kind of transportation, and the total of vehicles increases fleetly. At the same time, the condition of traffic is being improved greatly. Safety belts and restraint systems for installation in motor vehicles have been more and more important. More and more countries have made strict standards for automobile parts, especially for safety belt products. But the difficulties have been brought because of the discrepant standards. Implementation rule for compulsory certification of motor vehicles for safety belt products was actualized in 2001, the new generate standard about safety belts was actualized in 1st Dec, 2003, But at the same time, Chinese corporation have not mastered the key technology about safety belts, so it is important to learn the currently standards and make a plan to prepare for test equipments and test methods.Based on real automobile collision experimental study and computer simulation technology, the automobile simulation laboratory of CCAP draw lessons from other similar collision testing system inland and abroad, developing a kind of automobile simulation and collision test system by itself. This test system has many advantages, such as simple structure, low costs, adjusting conveniently and so on. By offering basic collision data for computer simulation, it helps the test system to estimate the damage to passengers in automobile accident, fitting inland corporation currently. It is also given a reference to test centers and the corporations about safety belts, airbags and so on.
