In order to develop the Old Northeast Industrial, some ministries, such as ministry of communication and ministry of railway, take measures to develope traffic foundation of the northeast region and to improve the service of transportation, so that an efficient comprehensive transportation system can be found. Reasonable transportation corridor planning is an essential and important part to the development of society and economy in the region. The paper researches the integration of transportation corridor in the northeast region, expecting the conclusion is useful to the construction of transportation corridor and distribution of transportation network in the northeast region.Firstly, the basic theories and the present study condition all over the world the paper are reviewed.Secondly, transportation corridor in the northeast region is classified based on the transportation network, then analyzes its current development and characteristics and summarizes the problems of current transportation corridor. The paper applies dissipative structure and entropy change theory to explore the broad prospects of transportation corridor in the northeast region.Thirdly, the influence factors on the development of society and economy are analyzed. Some prediction methods such as exponential smoothing, gray system theory and linear regression are used to estimate the development of society and economy in the northeast region. A model about the relation between traffic demand and development of society and economy is proposed, through which the increasing rate of the traffic volume is given.Fourthly, the "four-step" method, trend extend and correlation analysis are used to forecast the traffic demand of the highway trasportation corridor. The technique of OD Estimation is applied to get the matrix of current trip distribution. Initial matrix is gained through using node importance matrix to replace seed matrix. The progress demonstrates that the new method using node importance matrix is more effective. Equal-length and changeable-dimension fractal model using compensating figure is applied to forcast the traffic demand of railway transportation corridor.Fifthly, based on the result of the traffic demand forecasting and the existed traffic planning in the northeast region, the paper presents a multi-function and multi-direction scheme for the integration of transportation corridor and also gives the time sequence of construction, in which thought of system optimization is used.Then countermeasures of developing transportation corridor are proposed.At last, the paper summarizes the thesis and gives a view of further study which should be done.
