It is important to master the distribution of wind energy and the character of turbulent intensity in complex terrain for micrositing of wind farm. For applying CFD technic in the simulation of wind flow,the paper investigated three typical terrain of the backstep,cube obstacle and 3-d steep hill to compute,using the Fine/Turbo software of the Belguim company NUMECA, compares simulation result with experiment data, analyses and gains the location and height of the wind turbine. In the base of the result, comparing the second simulation which the initial solution is the simulation result of the 3-d steep hill with the first result, the article validates the universality of CFD technic in the micrositing process.And then, the article analyzes the effect of different terrain slope, the roughness of the ground surface and the height of the atmospheric boundary layer in detail, which will influence the wind energy density distribution,,vortex position and kinetic energy. Discussion on how to determine the best position for setting wind turbine for increasing wind power attraction is made.
