The time exceeding 80% for people is spent in indoor, indoor air quality (IAQ) extremely affects people's production and life . The domestic and foreign investigations indicate that many problems of indoor air quality do exist in a lot of buildings, therefore,it is vital significal to research these problems.This dissertation analyses the main pollutants an its sourses of indoor air,expatiating what is sick building syndrome(SBS) and its forming causes,the influence causes by IAQ ,thermal and moist environment,air flow etc to human's comfortable degree .Aim at the present sersious polluting situation of the central air-conditioning and ventilating systems in domestic public buildings,a effective way is searched for reducing the indoor pollution.For this purpose, we combined home and abroad research result, have put forward to applying the high technology,such as photocatalyst and its products ,to develop air purifying device . it can carries out sterilizing , fliteration , purification to indoor air and improves air quality and people's working and life environment .By the test of this purifying device parameter ,the analysis result shows that the purifying efficient of this device is more efficient than traditional unitary manner. It can be used to purify formaldehyde , NO2 , SO2 etc affectively .it is more suitable for purifying indoor air at present.
