Looking through the evolvement of resettlement compensation policies in Shanghai's old-town renewing, inducing of the core policies and comparing of different stages of polices, this article concludes the content of every changing and sums up overall trend and discipline for the policies' evolvement. Meantime, regarding time as clue, this article analyses the reasons of policies' formation and adjustments of different stages in microcosmic lay.According to the analysis of the reasons of the evolvement of resettlement compensation policies, this article consider that the policies and many factors in cities interact each other, and the changes of policies are the result of many factors. In macroscopic lay, from the angles of urban spacial geography, urban social-economy, governmental management mode, residential social consciousness and the behaviors of actors involved in resettlement, this article will find out the relationship between them and the policies, and then discuss the further reasons of the policies' changing.According to the analysis of the reasons of the evolvement of resettlement compensation policies, we come to the conclusion that the policies are shaped by the resultant forces of kinds of social-economic forces in the city, a complicate synthetical system.
