The Study On Planning And Design Of Exposition Site's Landscape And Environment

With the success of China bidding for 2010world expo in Shanghai (register), the studies about world expo appeared on surface. Founded in 1851, the modern world expo beyond the tradition concept, it has been becoming a festival of whole habitable globe, through it's development for 150 years. The focus of hosting world expo is not to exhibit of new techniques, but to gather the people all over the world, to express and communicate different thoughts and feelings face to face, and promoting culture co-prosperity by these ways.In order to consummate the existing expo theory system, the paper try to primarily study the human behaviors and apperceive in space environment, from the aspect of regarding expo as landscape environment.Based on literature reading, field investigation, and case analysis, the paper define the world expo, and trace it's course of development from two levels of expo and exposition site interpret the denotative and connotative of exposition site. Then, from the aspects of planning and design, the paper explore the target, principles, strategy and modifying factor of exposition site landscape architecture, study the exposition site landscape architecture from three levels of space, image and ecology, propose the principles and strategy of these levels by studying the recently several expo. At last, the analysis of Shanghai 2010 world expo landscape system planning proves the theories stated before, with a view to provide a beneficial reference for the construction of Shanghai 2010 world expo space environment.
