Research On The Natural Ventilation Design Of The Residence In Nanjing

Taking the modern residence of Nanjing as the research subject and adopting the method that combines the theory with practice, the author carries out a preliminary research into the natural ventilation design of the residence in this paper.After the introduction introduces the research background and subject, the paper goes on to put forward the significance of studying the natural ventilation design of the residence.This paper is divided into four chapters. Chapter one dwells on the basic theory, explaining the relevant concepts of the natural ventilation design of the residence. In this chapter, the author expounds what the natural ventilation design is, why it should be conducted, and how to realize it. Chapter two concerns the studies of the application technology of natural ventilation. The author analyses the measures of the natural ventilation design from different levels, taking the demand for contemporary design into account, and puts forward the feasible method of the natural ventilation design. The computer simulation design method is also introduced tentatively in this chapter. Chapter three concerns the current situation of the natural ventilation design in Nanjing. Considering the regional climatic conditions, the author expounds the necessity of the natural ventilation design in Nanjing, and summarizes the routine design methods of natural ventilation in present residence. Chapter four proposes the global optimization method of the natural ventilation design. It also proposes the corresponding strategies to improve the indoor air quality and the building energy efficiency. In the end, the author offers suggestions to perfect the natural ventilation design of the residence and anticipates its future development.The conclusion forms the final part of this paper, which summarizes the research progress obtained by the author .
