In recent years, the diagnosis of mechanical equipment failures at home and abroad have seen great technological development in the national production has played a major role. Shipping fault diagnosis based on the diesel multiple fault diagnosis technology, and integration of multiple disciplines theory emerging technologies, failure diagnosis for diesel technology forecasting and research can help us discover possible failure to prevent damage to aircraft and ships Huosun accidents, and to the owner of the enormous potential economic and social benefits.This paper addresses the mechanical equipment monitoring and fault diagnosis technology in the development and the status quo, the failure to ship the main characteristics of diesel respectively explored operating parameters monitoring technology, the diesel oil condition monitoring technology in the monitoring and diagnostic technology applications. At the same time the use of vague theory and diesel diagnostic failures combined theory and methods in the study of the ambiguity of the diesel engine failure diagnostic applications. On this basis, the main diesel engine condition monitoring and design fault diagnosis system overall programme to achieve comprehensive diagnostic purposes; Raised the diesel diagnostic monitoring system, and explored the concept of an integrated maintenance for the management and maintenance of ships scientifically provide some help.
