Study On The Urban Transport White Paper

The urban transport policy determines the principle of the urban transport construction, which is the implementation basis of series of plans such as the investment assignment of the internal system, the transport network planning,the transport management and so on. The Urban Transport White Paper, as an important transport policy of the government, has the vital significances on urban transport development in China both macroscopically in regulating the urban transport system operating healthily, and microscopically in the supervising of the urban transport construction in the near future.At present, in regards of the urban transport policy, there are at least two problems: on the one hand, the government has not attached sufficient significance strategically on the urban transport policy research; on the other hand, the key point to which the urban transport planner and establisher pay attention is the urban transport facility plan and construction, but the urban transport policy research has not been seen to sufficiently yet.
