It is known from a number of fire disaster accidents that with the frequent occurrence of tunnel fire have caused enormous social and economic losses. Analysis of the temperature field of fire is the basis of evaluating tunnel lining injury, developing advanced fire detection and alarm devices, guaranteeing the normal operation of ventilation machines, doing fire evacuation and rescue work smoothly and selecting rational ventilation velocity.Through comprehensive analysis of case studies, theoretical study and numerical simulation, this paper obtains the distribution of fire and propagation laws of road tunnels temperature, which provides basic parameters for the research of monitoring and warning system, fire-fighting and rescue system, tunnel fireproof design and lining structural damage evaluation. It focuses on the following aspects :1. By case studies on road tunnel fire accidents and fire tests which reflect temperature data information, and with statistical analysis and theoretical research, the temperature distribution law in time and in space is obtained, the influence of factors such as tunnel length, ventilation conditions and fire-fighting measures on them is discussed.2. The theoretical basis (mathematical and physical models) for tunnel fire CFD simulation is analyzed, through the analysis of the domestic and abroad research, suitable tunnel fire modeling (selection of parameters and submodel) is suggested, which lays the foundation for further research on CFD simulation.3. East Fuxing Road Tunnel with double floor is considered as an object, the tunnel fire model is build by FLUENT 6.2 software. In the model, heat release curves are set reasonably, and by simulation, the changes of temperature distribution (the highest temperature, longitudinal section temperature, horizontal section temperature, transverse section temperature and their changes with time) under different ventilation velocity and fire scale are studied in detail. The influence of fire scale and ventilation velocity is studied either.
