The wind power is a kind of renewable green power resources. Now, the wind power is one of new energy which has the most development prospect because of its mature development technology and preferable economic and social benefits. The wind energy industry has developed rapidly in recent years in china and a lot of large and medium wind parks have been put into production one after another.However,as the proportion of wind power increases steadily in power system ,the nature of intermittence and randomness of wind energy leads to constant fluctuation of the power output of wind park ,the grid-connected wind park has put much compressive stress on the safety and stability of power system.This thesis points out that energy storage system can not only be used in smoothing the power output of wind park so as to make the wind park operate as schedulable unit ,but also can improve the whole benefits for wind park with the further power market reform and implementing peak and valley price .It is a superior scheme for wind park to operate with water power storage.The wind-hydro hybrid system is adopted in this thesis. After introducing the basic theorys about wind power generation and water power storage, this thesis builds the benefit model of wind-hydro hybrid system , proposes the Gauss model to smooth the power output of wind park and finally presents the integrated model for wind farm to include the requirements of operation benefit and smoothing output at the same time.Based on the benefit model, Gauss model and the integrated model, this thesis executes the optimal calculation for the wind-hydro hybrid system by a compound genetic algorithm integrated with local elastic search . The results of calculation indicate that combined operation of wind-hydro hybrid system can not only get good economic effect but also can improve the power output characteristics of the wind farm .The wind-hydro hybrid system is helpful to increase the proportion of wind power in power system and finally benefit the development of wind industry in china.
