The stand-alone operation wind power generation system is an important application of windpower generation. The stand-alone operation wind power generation system, with high reliability, lowcost and good control performances is the inevitable requirement of the development of wind powergeneration technology. The application in the wind power generation system of doubly salientelectro-magnetic generator (DSEG), with advantages of high reliability, low cost and convenient powersurge, has special advantages, which meets the trend of the wind power generation technology. Thegood power control strategies for the stand-alone operation wind power generation system is the key ofimproving the wind energy utilization of wind turbine and guaranteeing the stability of load powersupply. So the study of the power control method suitable for DSEG stand-alone wind powergeneration system has great significance to its efficient application.In this paper, the structure of the stand-alone wind power generation system based on the DSEGis introduced firstly, the principles of the wind turbine and the DSEG are analyzed in detail, and thetwo system power control schemes, which are the exciting current controlling power, the armaturecurrent regulating voltage and the armature current controlling power, the exciting current regulatingvoltage, are proposed by the adjustable characteristics of the exciting current and the armature current.Then, the simulation model is built with MATLAB based on the mathematical theory of the system.The two methods mentioned above are studied by simulation. Besides, the more superior systempower control strategy is obtained and the efficiency of it is proved.Finally, the simulation experiment platform of the DSEG stand-alone operation wind powergeneration system is built based on the wind turbine simulator system which already exists in our lab.The two power control methods proposed above are studied based on this platform. The experimentalresults show that the system power control methods used in DSEG stand-alone wind power generatorsystem are effective. |
