At present, air conditioning systems consume large part of energy needed in buildings, therefore, the reduction of energy consumed by air conditioning systems is becoming an important issue related to energy-savings in buildings. In addition, traditional air-conditioning system is unable to provide people with more comfortable indoor environment because of its principle of cold/heat supply. Therefore people begin to search more energy saving and more comfortable air-conditioning system.Concrete Core Conditioning system (CCCs) belongs to radiation air-conditioning system. It can control the room temperature to make people comfortable by equipping pipes in walls, ceilings or floors to make full use of heat storage capacity of them, and making use of cycle water to cool or heat the room. It can decrease the energy consumption in buildings and meanwhile make people comfortable according its special characters. While it can only bear sensible heat load, latent heat load should be removed in other way. So it should cooperate with ventilation equipment or fresh air conditioning system and it can be named a kind of air-water system. In this thesis, a two-dimensional steady heat transfer model was established based on moderate assumptions and the reasonable simplification of those currently used models. With the help of finite element analysis software ( matlab/Pdetool) and CFD software (airpak) , simulation was carried out on inner and surface temperature of the wall, as well as indoor air temperature, and the numerical solutions were obtained. The effect of water flow rate variation, supply and return water mean temperatures, and distance between water tubes on the temperature distribution in both inner and surface of the wall is analyzed based on the model results. In order to confirm the validity of the model, A CCCs wad built in our Lab. Under steady mechanism, the effect of water flow rate variation, supply and return mean water temperatures, and distance between water tubes on the temperature distribution in both inner and outer wall was investigated and the experimental data was compared with the model results, leading to good agreement. Finally, CCCs is compared with traditional full air air-conditioning system in terms of cold load, operation, installation and human comfort produced. The results from this work are useful to the improvement of CCCs in technical aspect, thereby...
