With the implementation of leapfrog development strategy of Chinese Railways,the network construction has made much progress.However,due to the influence of the real landform and technology condition,there exists an obvious deficiency for railway line,that is,the variance of traction weight,which means the change of train weight.When district traction weight of train operation direction varies,the long-distance through train or direct train has to change its weight in the technical station which lies in the common boundary of these relative districts,which is called attaching operation or detaching operation,and this will bring extra train resorting and assembling,meanwhile,it may also increase the cost of station construction or reconstruction.To avoid this,unifying train weight is a good solution,but this will result in the insufficient use of locomotive and railway line.Based on these analysis above,there is a need to make comparative study on the cost of attaching operation or detaching operation and traction weight unifying.This paper makes research into the cost of these two operation modes respectively in the aspect of car hour consumption,which provides quantitative judgment criterion for determining whether unifying traction weight or not.Firstly,this dissertation retrospects the development process and current status of train weight,analyzes the existing problem,and points out the future direction.Then,for the case of traction weight disunity,all possible states and the corresponding sufficient terms and necessary terms are analyzed according to attaching operation and detaching operation , which educes the car hour expenses of the operational train.Afterward,for the case of traction weight unifying,basing on the analysis of the mutual relationship and influence of train weight and accumulation time , this dissertation makes quantitative analysis on the car hour expenses and makes qualitative analysis on the possible operational measures by combining with attaching operation and detaching operation cases.At last,a comparative analysis of expenses of these two instances is made and Binzhou line is taken for an numerical example.The main innovation of this dissertation can be listed as follows:1.From the view of car hour consumption,this dissertation makes quantitative analysis on the operation cost before and after traction weight is unified.2.For the attaching operation or detaching operation cases happening in railway...
