The Design And Realization Of A Workflow-based Locomotive Quality Management System

Our country's information industries are developing rapidly, and the software application level is also enhancing unceasingly. The locomotive overhaul department also follows close on the time step, and introduces the information management technology in the locomotive overhaul management. The locomotive quality management system realizes the control of entire process of the locomotive overhaul work by automatically assigning locomotive overhaul flow, basing on distance which the locomotive has run from the basic essential factor of the locomotive overhaul, which records each kind of data which come from the overhaul production really and objectively. It has the extremely vital significance to the comprehensive realization which the locomotives are overhauled by using scientific manner and information management technology.The management system was developed by using the development kit of C++ Builder, and chose SQL Server 2000 as the database system. The C/S (client /server) configuration was used for the development pattern, which is suited for the small and medium-sized enterprise. The database system runs on the Windows NT Server4.0 platform and the management runs on the Windows 2000/XP system. The development time and the development cost have been saved through this kind of choice of software and hardware.This article embarks from the information construction of locomotive depot, bases on the thought of workflow, and integrates modern MIS technology and the present situation in domestic and overseas according to the locomotive overhaul situation of locomotive depot. which the current domestic and foreign locomotives overhaul, It analyzed the workflow model of locomotive overhaul in locomotive depot and the structure of MIS in locomotive overhaul, designed a workflow management system which took the locomotive overhaul as the central work and realized that locomotive overhaul quality management and the part overhaul decision-making is set down automatically.
