In this dissertation, analysis in three dimensional finite element method for the static and dynamic characteristics of the frame of QTH200 channel paver carried out with the assistant of ANSYS program. First , a brief introduction of the equipment of channel paver is given. Then the static loads and dynamic loads on the frame and the working condition of the equipment are analyzed. The frame has two slopes during the operation: 1:2 and 1:3. According to this ,the analysis and the calculations of the forces acting on the frame are done and a reasonable method for the simplifying the forces is proposed. Then the frame is discreted into finite element models of truss structure, and the calculations of stress field and displacement field are carried out for the frame under concentrated loads and non-concentrated loads by mean of static analysis. The drawing of displacement results in horizontal, the drawing of displacement results in vertical and the drawing of line stress in every instances are given. In two slope during the operation: 1:2 and 1:3, the node stress of every links under concentrated loads are listed. In addition, from the dynamic analysis, the fundamental equation of the structural vibration is given, two methods of solving eigenvalue, subspace itevative method and Block lanczos method, are introduced, the calculations of the frame modal parameters (natural frequency and vibration model) and dynamic harmonic response in vertical direction are carried out. The vibration equation of frame in vertical direction is listed. The UY displacement curve VS frequency and harmonic response drawing of every nodes are given. After the calculation results are analyzed, the rationality of the frame design is discussed and advice for improving is proposed The research in this dissertation provides a theory basis for the factory to improve the frame's structure in the future.
