The electro-hydraulic proportional technology, which is the interface to integrate micro-electronics with the system of engineering power, is one of the essential technologies for construction machinery to achieve automatization. The applications of the electro-hydraulic proportional technology can simplify the hydraulic system, and improve the efficiency. Automatization and high-efficiency are the developing trend of all-hydraulic operated drilling machine. The study of the applications of the electro-hydraulic proportional technology is significative and valuable in engineering for large-diameter operated drilling machine to improve the controlled performance and efficiency.According to the GDY-40 drilling machine, the article studies the applications of the electro-hydraulic proportional technology to the engineering and analyzes the function of hydraulic system. In order to improve the automatization level, put PLC technology into action.Firstly, the research purpose and the significance are introduced in this paper. And then the article analyzes compose, characteristics and sorts. Rotational system and feeding system are introduced. According to the functions that the design of the rotational system and the feeding systems which are used in drilling machine, the article analyzes the rational system and the feeding system of GDY-40drilling machine. The rational system consists of two variable pumps and two ration motors.In order to gaining the speciality of the feeding mechanisms, at first the article establishes the typical dynamics model of electro-hydraulic proportional valve. And then, the article analyzes the policy and measure of control.Especially the control characteristic of the electro-hydraulic proportional controlled system of feeding is studied both in theory and in experiment. The result of the study shows that the electro-hydraulic proportional technology is useful for large-diameter operated drilling machine to simplify the operations and to improve the level of automatization and efficiency. The result of the study also shows that the system of feeding has the properties as followed: fast responses, stable pressure-adjusted characteristic, and some improvement of system efficiency.According to the analyzing results above, we put the electro-hydraulic proportional technology to the engineering drilling machine, and they can provide reference for the design of this type of drilling machine aftertime.
