The car dynamics is a subject that researchs all aspects about the movement of the car system. It includes three parts: Longitudinal dynamics, Ride dynamics and Handling dynamics. This dissertation researchs the Ride dynamics based on the technology of virtual reality. This dissertation sets up the virtual simulation system of the Ride dynamics.The dissertation is divided into six parts, and the main content of every part is presented as follow:In chapter 1, the article research background is summarized. It introduces the scope and the actuality on the research of Ride dynamics. It also introduces the development of virtual reality system and the actuality and trend of virtul simulation. At last, the article mentions the research content and main assignment.In chapter 2, the matter of vibration in Ride dynamics is analysed. It also researchs the vibration fountainhead of a car. The parts of the car related to the Ride dynamics are introduced. The reaction of human body to the vibration and the evaluate standard are analysed.In chapter 3, the precondition and method of the foundation to the model of Ride dynamics are introduced. It builds dynamics model of seven freedom degrees, four freedom degrees and two freedom degrees. The process of build and evolvement is explained. At last, the process of the solution to the two freedom degrees differential equation model is explained.In chapter 4, the technology of hardware and software of virtual reality is analysed. It explains the software WTK especially.In chapter 5, the virtual reality system of Ride dynamics is realized. It founds the virtual environment for Ride dynamics. The kinematics model is established based on the two freedom degrees differential equation model. The status of the car is represented on the virtual apparatus.In chapter 6, the conclusions of this dissertation are summarized in the last chapter. At the same time, the future work suggestion is given.
