At present the air-drived marker technology has been widely used in the product line, but most of these machine mainly depend on import. There are also many factories produce this kind of marker, but compared with the foreign companies the technology is still behindhand. The thesis aims to develop an air-drived marker machine, which can improve the printing efficency and make the printing pattern diversiform. Compared with other marking machine, this machine has advantages of good efficiency, easy operation, quick reaction, perfect control properties and wide applicability. The thesis has the following six chapters.In the first chapter, the air-drived marking technic and some of its problems were introduced. In comparison with the foreign machines, a project to improve the printing efficiecy by optimizing the software was proposed. This explain the significant of the thesisi.In the second chapter, the functions and the capabilities of the air-drived marking machine were set down. According to the functions and capabilities, a design proposal of the air-drived marking machine was worked out. This would be useful in the following steps of design.In the third chapter, the characters of dot-matrix font and vector font were compared and introduced. And then, a format of character module file which was suitable for the marking system was defined. According to the defined format, a font generator was made, which offers the users good operating and multi-function interface.In the forth chapter, based on the analysis of printing movement, a problem of printing track optimization was presented, and then a mathematic model was set up. According to the related optimizing theory, the Minimum Spanning Tree arithmetic and the Rectilinear SteinerMinimum Tree arithmetic were selected as the solution of the problem in this thesis.In the fifth chapter, the realization of the marking system software was introduced, and an experient was carried out in order to compare the different printing tracks efficiency and further more to prove the validity of the optimization arithmetic.The conclusions and expectations took up the sixth chapter.
