At present, between multi of the marking machine used to mark number on the product, enhanced pneumatic matrix marking machine has the following advantage: high efficiency, clear type, which is the reason of being taken as the factory's key development object at home and abroad. Matrix's structure, the matrix's head directional technology, steel cylinder's location technology are the key technology of marking machine. This text has solved problems above and the effect of the optimized machine has met the marking expect.After summarizing research status and improved advice in key position of pneumatic matrix marking machine at home and abroad, we put forward enhance the matrix's structure strong, improve character wearing, control matrix axial and radial position technology.To matrix's breakage and bend, we explained LS-DYNA was suitable to simulate the experiment in this text, and used LS-DYNA to reappear the process of matrix's breakage and bend. We drew the conclusion that there was fault in the structure of the matrix and marking processing from the stress and material property, which pointed out the research direction. We improved the structure of matrix according the result above, and simulated the process of marking using improved matrix.To solve character wearing seriously, we build dynamic model of character embedding steel cylinder. We created function about marking energy, character pattern, marking depth. With marking experience in factory, we improved character pattern, marking energy, at last we did experiment to every character about embedding into steel cylinder.To the problem of character writing not clear, we developed axial directional technology for vertical marking and radial fault avoid marking technology on the base of CCD image. On one side, the marking place of steel cylinder is curve surface, but the matrix is plane, so we put forward vertical marking. On another side, some of the marking place has flaw, where is not suitable for marking, so we put forward fault avoid marking. Last, we cast improved matrix including matrix carrier and character, developed software module, and with the help of control system of machine, designed axial and radial position confirmed technology. To realize this function, a PC and a PLC was needed, and to make them work together, communication protocol was used to connect them. At last, we installed CCD camera at a suitable position, also checking high effect of the improved machine.
