In recent years, they paid more attention to the research, development and production of smokescreen equipment.The battles have proved that when attacking weapon's efficiency reduced by 4/5, while defending it could let the enemy's weapon efficiency reduced by 9/10. At present, one of the development trends of smokescreen is to improve its obscure power, so the measurement of smokecscreen obscure power is the most important content of the research on smokescreen.The measurement system is based on the law of Lamber-Beer. This project is mainly to design the measurement system. The hardware is composed of digital luminometer, rotate encoder, step motor and data acquisition card, solenoid-operated clutches. The software is developed in Visual C++ 6.0 which is an OOP programming environment and has plenty of resource to use.This system can implement high speed, automatic measurement. It not only has high reliability but also shortens the cycle of research, improves the work efficiency. The system is proved to have high precision in field test and it highly meets the project's need.
