Research Of The Abroad Slums

In the process of the rapidly urbanization and globalization,The thesis is to study .the ignorance of the existence of slums and social inequity which is triggered by slum problems.On the basis of analyzing present slum situation ,thesis adopt the theories of sociology,economics,enviromental,psychology, behavioral science and urban planning,study the experience abroad in slum rebuilding for resolving the slum problems.Here,slum problem is just urban poverty problem.Although the existence of slums brought many problems to its cities,but it can also meet some demand such as labourforce requirement.In fact the way of rebuilding and development of slums and resettlements of its resident destroy houses they can afford,making them homeless once again.This may cause many other problems when we focusing on some ones of it.Thus the so called"participatory slum rebuilding"is now considered the best way of resolving slum problems.It first respect average citizens living in slums, strengthen the protection of their habitation right, which is the precondition of slum rebuilding.The measures of rebuilding should be in the political,social and economic strategy of the cities.Initiat protentials of slum residents and their organizations on the base of native situation,so as to cooperate the process of slum rebuilding. And the slum rebuilding must be ensured to be part of formal constructions of the cities.Although there's no such parlance as slum in our nation,but the fact is there're so many so called "village in city"in metropolis like beijing,shanghai and so on. There're many problems there the same as those in slums. And the experience abroad of slum rebuilding would have great value to the resolving of similar problems in our nation.
