Abstract/Summary:
In order to guarantee the transmission and distribution lines and ensure the equipments running in a safe and reliable state, it is important to patrol the lines by workers periodically or non-periodically. Now the general existence of the traditional pattern in the electrical network inspection, which means to use the manual record in the flaws feedback and lines inspecting as well as disappear lacks by transferring the faulted small notes, already cannot be adapted to the increasingly improved requests for the quality of power supplies. In order to enhance the working efficiency in patrol ling line, to avoid the occurrence of missing examinations and so on, to reduces the failure rate of the field lines, and to ensure the continuous running of field lines in safe, reliable and good quality, the pattern of patrolling line must be changed from traditionally artificial approaches to mobile informational approaches. So it is imperative under the situation to implement the electronicalization, the informationization and the intellectualization of the management. According to the existing software and hardware technology and the actual need in patrolling lines, this paper proposed an management information system solution for patrolling lines based on the GPS, which is worth of some economic value and social value.First, the paper discussed domestic and foreign management methods about patrolling lines at present, analyzed those characteristic and limitation of each method, and proposed a system solution based on the GPS. Afterwards, it introduced the whole plan of this system, and has decided the technical method to final goal.Then, this paper elaborated the design and realization of the software in PC for managing patrolling lines. First it had contrived the scheme of the whole system based on B/S architecture, and selected SQL2000 to support this system in the background. This part also narrated how this system was realized in detail.After that, the paper elaborated the plan and development flow of the software based on Palm OS. In this part, this paper has described the mechanism and characteristic of Palm OS, which is different to Windows.Finally, the paper briefed the operating states. Its successfully running had proved the feasibility of this project.
