Research On The Design Of Highway Service Station In The South Of China

A mature transportation system is one of the basic factors that support a country and stimulate the society development. Highway takes an important part in the moden transportation system. The palning and design of buildings that are affiliated to highway have been required more seriously , with the rapid development of the construction and usage of highway in china.This thesis focuses on problems including location decision and planing of highway service stations,ascertaining of construction scale , layout of buildings and facilities and building design.. It contains six parts .The first part expounds the necessary of systemic studies on highway and its affiliated building from the standpoint of economy culture,environment and so on. The author also introduces the evolution of transport buildings , forecasts the development of highway , defines the building affiliated to highway . From several viewpoint, the second part analyzes the planing process , and draws a conclusion of the planing's limit factors . The third part is about the master planing . In the fourth part , the author concisely instroduces the design methods of highway service stations. In the fiveth part , author introduces several service stations that are designed by the author and other designs together. At last ,it is the end of the whole article.With the work above , the thesis present an elementary means for planing and design of building that are affiliated to highway.
