Research On Non-uniformity Settlement Of Foundation And Proposing Effective Preventing Countermeasures

Many project accidents occur in the foundations of domestic buildings and foreign buildings. This is because various local engineering geology conditions make different earth distribution and earth physics mechanical properties. Even if identical building location, often soil texture is non-uniformity settlement.The non-uniformity settlement of ground foundation is harmful to the building, specially to the masonry structure and the concrete frame structure. It may cause wall, and even collapses of whole or local building, which threaten to the house normal use and the people's life and property. Therefore, correctly understanding the harm of non-uniformity settlement to the building, thoroughly analyzing the reason of the accidents, and proposing effective preventing countermeasures, have a great project practical significance. Summarizes three aspects:namely reason comes from the ground aspect, reason comes from the building frame aspect and the human factor. This article makes thoroughly discussion and the research on the accident reason of non-uniformity settlement of the masonry structure and the reinforced concrete frame stuctureon the basis of summarizing the predecessor research results and related experience in the project accidents.Code for design of the ground foundations (GB50007—2002), Code for design ofmasonry structures (GB50003 —2001) , and Code for design of concrete structures(GB50010-2002) have relative stipulations on ground distortion of the building andthe crack opening of structural components. Related controlling measurements areproposed.According to the reasons of non-uniformity settlement accidents and related code and project experience ,government countermeasures for non-uniformity settlement accident of the masonry structures and the frame structures are proposed in this article, including each kind of preventive measures , the ground processing method, the structural error correcting ,the reinforcement method and so on.
