Inductor heating power is widely used in several industrial areas, For the purpose of improving the efficiency of the inductor heating power, many control methods and technology of PLL have been introduced into the area. In this paper a new kind of DPLL (digital phase-lock loop) based on DSP (digital signal processor) is introduced.Firstly, this paper introduces the basic theory of inductor heating and the situation of the applications of the inductor heating and the main topologies both here and abroad.Secondly, this paper analyzes the main circuits of the inductor heating power. And it indicates the advantages and the disadvantages of the series resonance circuit and the parallel resonance circuit. According to the result of the simulation in the MATLAB/Simulink, the waves of the voltage and the current in the resonance circuit is analyzed. Then with the help of the mathematical analysis of the modulation methods in the series resonance circuit and the simulation results, a suited modulation method is chosen.Thirdly, the importance and the achievement of PLL in the series resonance circuit is introduced. Based on the analysis and the modulation of PLL, a new type DPLL is designed. The mathematical model of the DPLL in the series resonance circuit is built up. And the feasibility of the DPLL is testified.Fourthly, this paper introduces the achievement of the DPLL in DSP (TMS320LF2407A), including the hardware circuit design and the software design. Then it compares the result with the traditional PLL.
