Induction heating power supply more and more widely applies in the industry with its energy efficient, easy to control and other advantages. With the development of power electronics technology, high-frequency, high-precision, high efficiency, high power factor and digital intelligence become the trends of induction heating power supply.This paper study on induction heating power supply based on IGBT, and complete a series20kHz/30kW induction heating power supply.Firstly,paper introduces the current situation and development prospects of the induction heating power supply and explains the basic principles.Paper compares various power adjustment methods and the advantages and disadvantages of two typical inverter topologies,and determines the system solutions with the Buck chopper and the voltage series resonant inverter topology.Paper focuses on the design of the series resonant voltage inverter bridge’s control timing, the dead time and the power factor angle;in order to ensure reliable operation, the inverter bridge works with the optimal dead time and high power factor,and the load works in a weak emotional state.Meanwhile, paper analysis the methods of the series resonant load matching,uses the electromagnetic coupling method which can reduce the resonant voltage of the compensation capacitor to match the power load,and completes the design of the matching transformer.In the control strategy, based on DSP TMS320F28335,paper uses the voltage、current and power closed-loop controller to adjust power for achieving the more accurate and rapid power adjustment; paper uses the current zero crossing detection and digital PI control regulation mode to automatically tracking the natural frequency of the load, and ensures that the load remains work in weak emotional state.On the basis of the above analysis,paper describes the working principle and the design methods.Paper analysis the methods of main circuit designing,the selection of key components,the load matching programs and the system losses.Eventually,this paper successfully developed a30kW/20kHz high-performance series resonant induction heating power.Test results and field applications situation show that the electrical performance of power supply achieves the desired target and requirements, with the stable output performance, high power factor and good thermal stability.Power supply is helpful to improve the sapphire crystal technology.
