Urban transportation mode both use bicycles, motorcycles, buses, taxis or cars transporting passengers, with the ultimate aim of achieving passengers' space displacement, and comfortable existence as the passengers' requirements. But in the process, different transportation vehicles have different delivery time and different passenger's quantity;transportation vehicles use different taxes and fees, road facilities occupied by different time and space, on the environment and psychological impact of different passengers, which directly affect the costs and benefits of transportation.Urban available transport space and facilities are limited, which can be a way to replace all can get around. However, in conditions of limited resources, how Scientific to use transport resources, and from the economic perspective and give a reasonable explanation, it need to study the urban traffic cost which need for a quantity. Currently, the response to these, the country has not been quantified scientific methods and models.The thesis adoption of several common trip mode in the cities, mainly contain walking, bicycles, motorcycles, buses, cars and taxis in use costs, infrastructure costs, time costs and external costs which can get around the four quantitative research, respectively established urban traffic trip cost calculations methods and models;In Harbin City for the investigation and case studies, and utilizing Access data base software gather Harbin city traffic cost, and then adopt Access statistical chart which test the current transportation policy is reasonable, The studies provide the scientific basis for the traffic and transportation policy's formulation and the rational utilization of resources, and it advance the sustainable development of urban areas;Taipei Metropolitan district compare with Harbin city. Through to the municipal transportation cost mathematical quantification research, obtained the personal transportation cost to be bigger than the mass transit by far the cost, thus created the resources to dispose not reasonably. The paper proposed the transportation cost quantification analysis method has the versatility.
