Reinforced concrete single cantilever beams or prestressed concrete single cantilever beams are widely applied to industrial civil architecture and bridges. The structure of single cantilever beams are commonly used in many constructional projects. Although theoretical research and experiments are conducted so much, structural test systems for single cantilever beams are relatively scarce, especially for teaching and research. The thesis aims to develop a set of simple, economical and applicable test system of reinforced concrete single cantilever beam and make it a useful supplement in structural experiment field. In order to finish those tasks, the equipment of single cantilever beams was developed, relative programme for test was compiled, test beams were made and tested in the thesis. Finally, analyses and compares between test results and the ones by using finite element theory were made.Strain and deflection are two principal experimental contents. The thesis expounds strain-measuring method and deflection-measuring method used in this test system on the basis of analysis of basic theory and introduces BQ120-5AA strain gauge, YD-28A dynamic resistance strain gage, PCL-812PG data acquisition card, DA-30 LVDT and mating data collector.In the thesis, pivotal parameters of loading equipment and primary components, operating principle and technological parameters are emphasizing described. Different test beams are designed and made for verifying test. At the same time, controlling program based on Visual Basic for testing and controlling is developed.In the end, the validating test of beam were taken in lab with the controlling program. At the same time, the test result is elementary discussed using the finite element method aimed at the test beams. The experimental results indicated: (1) loading equipment can realize load experimentation; (2)The program's implementation is stable and program can acquire expecting result.
