Research On The Simulation Of RCC Dam Construction Process

RCC dam starts lately in China which is one of the main dam types but developed fast. It is widely used because of its qualities of accelerated construction, economy and safety. Construction process and influence condition are complex because it reference to many factors such as machinery, material supply, and construction craft, local meteorological observatory, yard and so on. Therefore, it is too simple and litter precision to analysis and choose construction scheme through the experience and analog analysis. Computer simulation technique can emulates the complex construction process, changes parameters and it makes editing scheme easier. It takes important role in opting machinery, construction technique parameters, construction scheme, and in guiding engineering design and construction management. It makes sense in theory and actual apply.This paper whose objective is RCC dam researches on the RCC dam construction process simulation system and uses the advanced simulation technique at present. This system consists of three subsystems which are concrete production, concrete transport and dam filling. It relates simulation to real construction by controlling the relationship and constraint between each subsystem in general and comprehensively considering such factors as machinery, material supply, and construction craft, local meteorological observatory, yard and so on. It also simulates the generating and developing condition of each subsystem as well as the random factors.This system is written in VB, and makes use of SQL Server data bank to in and out the initial parameters as well as the result data.
