"Spatial structure was considered as an interest but still a strange non-traditional structure in 1960 s ",the former editor of the international spatial structure,Ma Kao La sky, once said.but after nearly 60 years of development, the large-span spatial structure has a high status in architectural engineering today, and has become one of the most complex, most graceful and most active structure types. This has put forward high requirements for the construction technology of large-span spatial structure. It is well known that the traditional structural design only takes into account the mechanical behavior of the whole forming state of the structure, but neglecting the mechanical behavior of the final forming structure and the influence caused by the changes of various factors during the forming process on the mechanical behavior of the final forming structure, and many engineering accident statistics also prove the risk rate of forming stage is highest in the whole life cycle of the structure.Obviously, the lack of strict control during the construction process of large-span space structures is very unscientific. Therefore,it is particularly important to simulate the construction process for different construction projects. This article first summarizes the development of large-span spatial structures and the research status of construction technologies at home and abroad, meanwhile, having a detailed overview of construction methods for long-span spatial structures. Then through the comparison and selection of a large-span column dry coal shed, the construction scheme of unit slip method was established and the detailed scheme was designed. On this basis, the issue of synchronization control during the construction of the sliding method was explored, which obtains the necessity of strengthening the synchronization control during the several slip phases before the cumulative slip construction. Finally, the spatial structure design and analysis software MST2008 is used to model the cylindrical reticulated shell structure and introduce the most unfavourable load model into the general finite element analysis software ANSYS.Then, the construction process is simulated and analyzed by ANSYS for the construction process of the cumulative slip method and the single slip method under the different units. The following conclusions are drawn as follows:(1)the maximum stress and maximum displacement of slip unit in the process of cumulative slip construction are dynamically changed with the progress of the construction, and the maximum change rate is larger in the initial stages of slip, and the maximum stress in each stage of slip construction exceeds the design stress at all stages but in the range of material strength, which indicates that the maximum stress is within the range of material strength. The large stress bar still has a certain strength reserve, the safety of sliding construction can be ensured, and the necessity of the construction process simulation is verified. Therefore, the construction monitoring of the initial sliding stage should be increased in the actual sliding construction process and the temporary reinforcement of the local stressed large rod should be strengthened.(2)the increase of the cross middle slip orbit can reduce the horizontal thrust and the mid span deflection of the sliding element at both ends of the sliding rail during the sliding construction of the cylindrical latticed shell to a great extent, and the smaller the partition of the slip element, the better the effect of the sliding orbit.(3)the feasibility of the horizontal thrust control scheme for single slip construction of cylindrical latticed shell is verified by putting forward the "mixed node" for the construction of the single slip method for the bolt ball structure.
