Design Of Automobile Data Detection And Maintenance System Based On ARM9

Since the combination of automotive and electronic technology, the applications of electronic technology on automobile are becoming more and more extensive, the electronic control system of automobile becomes complex day by day. Highly integrated electronic control unit will bring difficulties to maintenance inevitably. Therefore market needs diagnosis and reparative facilities for automobile. It is considering that the facilities have many disadvantages at present, such as carrying inconvenient, unitary function, emphasizing the diagnosis only. We design this portable automobile data diagnosis and maintenance system with the advantage of carrying convenience, covering more vehicle, operating simply and maintenance.The hardware of this system includes two parts, auto palm and main controller. Auto palm offers interface between human and computer, receives the data from main controller and transmits the order to main controller. The main controller executes commands, completes the specific operation of diagnosis and maintenance as the same time.This paper described the implementation of hardware detailedly, then expatiated the basic protocol of automobile diagnosis and maintenance, finally, we introduced the software design of the auto palm and microcontroller.The core of auto palm hardware is S3C2410A, one external 32M×8bits NADN FLASH is used to start and guide system, two external 4M×16×4banks SDRAM is used to execute main program code. LCD with touch screen offers human-computer interface, the communication between auto palm and main controller is completed by UART port. The core of the main controller is AT89C51, one external 64M×8Bits SDRAM is used for data and program. I/O ports of the microcontroller connect to the adapter through FPGA.
