As the precondition of engineering design, geotechnical reconnaissance is very important. Traditional geotechnical reconnaissance datum is localized to be two-dimensional, static expression, which is neither intuitionistic enough in describing the diversification of field geo-space conformation nor sufficient enough in unveiling the law of diversification. The traditional geotechnical reconnaissance makes it hard that people catch the physical mechanical diversification of the field soil directly, correctly and holistically. It also could not efficiently meet the demand of geotechnical space analysis, which could not serve engineering design well. It becomes a both old and new problem in geotechnical engineering that how to break through traditional technical limitation, how to deduce the law of district distribution of field soil, how to forecast the geoengineering property based on geotechnical datum. On the basis of analysis and conclusion of former theory, the system of geotechnical reconnaissance digitalization is brought forward and constructed with its actualization method in detail.The main problem to be solved in geotechnical reconnaissance digitalization is the design of field digitalization, physical index digitalization, field stratum digitalization and date base of geotechnical reconnaissance. The methods of actualization are described as below.About the field digitalization, geotechnical reconnaissance is combined with Global Information System (GIS), making use of the powerful ability of datum collection, management, space query and analysis, which improves the poor situation of datum management because of complex content and form diversification. GIS, with powerful ability of visualized manipulation, also provides a visualized manipulation stage for geotechnical reconnaissance.About the physical index digitalization, on the basis of the basic theories of geo-statistics and interrelated distance and 290 groups datum of Hangzhou engineering field, the representative stratum physical mechanical index, interrelated distance and shear wave velocity are statistically calculated.About the field stratum digitalization, the method of engineering field geo-modeling is studied in which Delaunay method is mainly expatiated. It is explained in detail that how to design the datum structure of parameters, how to actualize the techniques of simulative drill hole, simulative geo-engineering section, interrelated properties equal linear calculation.About the date base design, the concept model and structure design, based on...
