| Water damage of asphalt mixture is one of leading modes of premature fracture damage of asphalt pavement. Aiming at water damage problem of asphalt pavement ,this paper systematically introduces the domestic and international research works in this aspect and detailedly analyzes the reasons and characteristic of water damage, and analyzes the effect of the admixture on water stability of mixture asphalt by lab tests, the test result shows that lime is very effective to improve water stability of mixture asphalt. Finally the paper put forward a series of measures that prevent the water damage of asphalt pavement. |
